Board of Directors Open Time Form
is a volunteer board elected by and from the owners annually, and represents the owners in establishing the long-term vision of the co-op, and monitoring General Manager (GM) performance.
The board welcomes any opportunity to interact with members of the community, and as such, reserves at least ten minutes of every regular monthly meeting for open time to meet with whomever may want to come.

It is important to note, however, that the board does not interfere with the day-to-day operations of the store except as directed by board policy, allowing us to focus on linking with owners, and translating that into the long term vision of the co-op. This board philosophy, called policy governance, has proven very effective for co-ops across the nation.
