2013 marks the fourth year of Hemp History Week, the largest national grassroots marketing and public education effort to renew strong support for hemp farming in the U.S. and raise awareness about the benefits of hemp products.

Each year, 500 members of the food co-op community gather together to learn from each other and national experts about how we can make our home co-ops better. This year, Wheatsville is very excited to be the host for the Consumer Cooperative Management Association (CCMA) Conference, right here in Austin, June 6-8.

Learn more about the BoardThe Wheatsville Board will hold an information session every six weeks throughout 2013 to give you a chance to learn about what the board does and what our governance structure looks like. You should attend if you are interested in learning more about Wheatsville's Board of Directors, think you might want to serve as a director yourself, or just want to engage more deeply with your co-op. The meeting will last for one hour and be held at Wheatsville's administrative offices (the building just north of the store at 3105 Guadalupe) in the main meeting room.
