“Get Out the Vote” Postcard Party

Hosted by the League of Women Voters, this is a nonpartisan “Get out the Vote” postcard party that is free and open to the public and will take place in the Bluewillow lounge of our South Lamar location from 5pm-7pm. Attendees will be able to pick up packets of postcards and addresses to take home, or stick around and address or apply postage to the cards on site.

The League of Women Voters is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, grassroots civic organization that encourages informed and active participation in government. Their mission is “Empowering Voters. Defending Democracy.” The league doesn’t support or oppose any candidate or party, but does take positions on issues. The Austin Area League was a Wheatsville Community Action Partner in January 2026.
