Who Can Apply
- This program is intended for artists that live in and around the Austin area
- All art must be family friendly
*As with our donations and community partners, art must be non-sectarian and non-partisan.
What comes with being a featured artist?
- 2 months of up to 10 pieces of your art hanging in our Bluewillow Lounge
- Hanging fixtures will be provided by us
- Title & price tags
- An opening night party in the Bluewillow Lounge that is advertised by us
Artist Responsibilities
- Artist is expected to hang their own art on the specified start date of the show
- Artist is to handle all transactions surround the purchase of a piece. Wheatsville will place a sold sticker on the piece as needed.
- Artist may choose to leave the sold piece hanging for the duration of the show OR pull it and replace it with another eligible piece.
- You must remove your piece by 10pm on the last day of your show. If you do not, the art becomes property of Wheatsville Food Co-op.
- Food or beverages at the opening party are the responsibility of the artist. All food and drink must be purchased at Wheatsville and can be done so either through our catering department or in the store on the day of the event.
